Go Eco!

Okey, so as you might know, more people are talking about eating organic food and to by the right thing from the supermarket.
But whats right and what does all the marks say? I can only speak from what we have in the supermarkets where I live.

So, what the worst things to by when you're out buying grocery? Here you have a list on which is the worst and also why:

Apples:  Because apples are rubbish? Just a joke, and a Doctor Who referent but they actually are. Before you harvest the apples you're spraying the apples with a lot of chemicals and even if your eating apples that's from the same country as you are they still spray them about five times before it's time to harvest. Of course if you eat apples from your own garden or from a friends garden that's fine, but if your buying it in a supermarket, be careful.

Cocoa and chocolate: Even this is sprayed with chemicals and then mixed up with other ingredients to make it taste good and look nicely. But if you ignore the fact that you probably don't want to eat chemicals with trace of cocoa, you probably don't want the people that's working to have a really bad job?
Working with cocoa and other stuff like tea, bananas or grapes, you have a minimum emolument, for the work you do which is quite dangerous because of all the spraying and if something would go wrong the boss have no responsibility to do anything.

Grapes: Since the layers of an grape give almost no protection for the fruit itself, there is so much chemicals in one grape that when they did a test on a raisin, there where 26 different spraying in just one raisin. Not anything I would want to eat for a snack any more.

Bananas: Just short about this because this is definitely something horrible, people working on a farm who grow bananas gets so effected by the chemical spraying that both the person working and their kids might have the chance to get damage on their nerves.

Milk and other dairy products: Not only does a lot of cows have to suffer both from giving milk and to actually get eaten, the rain forests get cut down, also the effluent in the water and the earth will be reduced.

That's why you should for your own, your family and for other peoples best bu thing marked with (some of these are Swedish since I can only talk about thing that's in my supermarket):
KRAV, fair trade, eco, ekologiskt and rain forest alliance.

Also, if you have the shop called ICA near where you live, they have their own organic brand called I <3 eco, which from my point of view is e good one since it's not to expensive to afford either.

There's many ways of saving the earth and to be nice to your own body by eating right, taking the bike, go by bus, pawn bottles, recycle, shop from second hand and eat vegetarian food. But since many people don't want to  or can, a good way to at least start is to try eating organic food!

- Oh, just me again.
